My passion for publishing began in kindergarten when I wrote my first book, Ruby Diamond and the Jewel Thief. With nearly 30 years in the publishing and entertainment industries, my experience includes The Walt Disney Studios, Penguin Putnam, and the venerable Russell & Volkening Literary Agency in New York, where I worked with Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning authors.

After years of watching writers struggle to find their way through the publishing industry, I recognized the need to help discover their unique publishing path and take the guesswork, frustration, and overwhelm out of the process of becoming a published author. Whether publishing traditionally or independently, every author needs someone they can trust has their back.

The culmination of this being KLR Literary Management, which was created on a basic principle of giving writers a place where all they do is write. I pride myself on the commitment made to every author and their career as a whole.

I am a 500-hr certified yoga instructor and mindfulness practitioner. When I’m not training for a triathlon, I’m most often found snuggling my Dobermans. Though I do take off Saturdays during the fall to watch college football.
