I am writing a book on Franklin Roosevelt and his efforts to convince an isolationist America to overturn the Neutrality Act to help England and Winston Churchill withstand the onslaught of Nazi Germany. I am the former director of the FDR Presidential Library. Before that I was the Deputy Director of the Newseum. I also was an Emmy award winning television producer and executive for 20 years. I wrote or supervised the writing on hundreds of primetime programs and news and magazine segments.
