About

As a senior executive coach, facilitator, writer, and speaker, Amy wakes up every morning and pursues her passionate mission to show the world – peace is the true fuel to performance. In her fifteen years of coaching partnerships with global leaders, Amy helps her clients discover their peace self as their grounding identity in a performance driven world where hard won achievements and costly losses intermingle. The paradigm shift Amy challenges us to consider is peace and performance need their powerful duet in the heat of the moment and in the marathon of a leadership career. Through Amy’s extensive work across seven industries, she discovered many leaders are vulnerable to self-limiting narratives when their identity is tied only to their job and even more narrowly to their performance. In this condition, dedicated leaders don’t just battle with the fear of failure they war with the ultimate growth killer of self-rejection. The antidote is what Amy has developed as the Peace Over Performance journey, where the peace self (always worthy, loved and learning) is the commander of our performance self.
After years of learning from her own client experiences with rising top industry executives and co-creating innovative leadership experiences, Amy began to author thought provoking posts on LinkedIn under the hashtag #peaceoverperformance and appearing on numerous top ranked leadership podcasts, such as On Compassion, Innovation Meets Leadership, and Voice of America’s Out of the Comfort Zone and has been a regular contributor and collaborating partner with Leadercast.
Prior to launching in her practice in 2008, Amy had an eighteen-year corporate leadership career spanning global outsourcing, systems integration, and management consulting industries. Planting the seeds of her executive coaching career where overseeing complex change projects that were mission critical to her client’s viability in their industry – including global manufacturers, software and high-tech innovators, banking, media, and hospitality, and energy.

Amy’s clients have included executives from Coca-Cola, Fiserv, Cox Automotive, Chick-Fil-A, UPS, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Caterpillar. Amy is also a certified partner and practitioner with Hogan, Harrison, Purposed Linked Consulting, and Herrmann Brain Dominance.

If not speaking, writing or coaching, Amy lives in Ohio with her husband they enjoy time together expanding their collection of rare and old prayer devotionals and exploring the incredible park system overflowing with peace from the trails, trees, and waterfalls.
