Here is my bio: Gerri Lewis is a freelance writer who spent the early years of her career as a newspaper feature writer and columnist. She now focuses her writing on magazine features for O68 Magazine (formerly Morris Media Group, Inc., publisher of six Connecticut and New York based magazines.) Her cover features appear regularly and her HOW WE MET column was a popular staple of the magazine for many years. Her accolades include feature-writing awards from the New England Press Association and the Society of Professional Journalists, among others. Beyond journalism, Gerri works as a public information officer for the Ridgefield, Connecticut Office of Emergency Management and Campaign Manager for the First Selectman. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Gerri’s debut novel,The Last Word, will be published in early 2024.
