I'm an award-winning author of 16 books so far with publishers from Lerner to Capstone; playful picture books up through NF YA, and a new title for moms that's under contract. I am also a Development Editor for a packager with over 30 titles, from parenting journals to kids' How-To books. No stranger to marketing and promotion, I've been interviewed live on CNN (twice), profiled in Writing Children's Books for Dummies, and appeared in literally hundreds of newspapers, magazines, TV, and radio across the country--not to mention my decade of corporate marketing experience helping other authors edit and market their books. I've spoken at conferences and visits from NY to CA, including the lauded international SCBWI conference in L.A., most recently at the Utah League of Writers. On the personal side, I've got three kids (four if you count my husband), and when not hiding all the dark chocolate, you'll probably find me thinking about folding the laundry, or in yoga (often both).
