About
Melanie Sumrow is the author of The Inside Battle, a New York Public Library Best Book for Kids, and The Prophet Calls, a Writer's League of Texas Award Finalist. Before becoming an author, she worked as a lawyer for more than 16 years, with many of her cases involving children and teens. She received her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University and lives in Dallas.
