I was born and raised in the Philippines.
I started writing poetry in my early teens. My poems were published in several magazines both in my country as well as in the U.S.
I worked in New York City as a nurse for thirty years. I published a book of poetry in 2011 called
“I Quote Myself”. And in 2022, my first novel called “A New York Collage” was published.
In the early 90’s, I wrote for a local paper here in Queens. The name of the newspaper was Herald Philippines. It folded after three years.
