Born and raised in Southern California, Katheryn Gallant began her writing career in the second grade when she won an essay contest on “From Sea to Shining Sea”. She received her bachelor of arts in liberal studies from California State University, Los Angeles. Katheryn has written for BRAZZIL and the JOURNAL OF LIBERAL HISTORY, but primarily writes upmarket historical fiction and alternate history with real-life female protagonists. Katheryn is an Anglophile and Francophile, a lover of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, and an aficionada of alternate history. When not writing, she enjoys puns and matching her wits with contestants while watching JEOPARDY! on TV.
