Katie Daley’s poems and essays have appeared in publications such as Exposition Review, Seneca Review, Slipstream, Hippocampus, and Times They Were A-Changing: Women Remember the ’60’s and ’70’s (She Writes Press). She received three Individual Excellence Awards from the Ohio Arts Council and has performed her work across North America in theaters, ballrooms, nightclubs and music festivals as well as TV and radio broadcasts. She is currently working on a memoir about the 18-month journey she took hitchhiking and migrant-working her way across the USA in the wake of her brother’s suicide.
