I am a native Californian who has spent the past 30 years teaching, editing, translating and writing around East Asia. Currently, I live by Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia, where I teach English and pursue journalism and editing on the side. I am also a volunteer with the US embassy in KL. My teaching experience is highly varied, including online teacher training for the State Department and conducting English academic writing workshops for graduate students at the University of Malaya. My journalism includes 40 articles on Korea, including some less well-known places there.
