I am a Fellow at The Writing Barn, 2022 WriteMentor summer mentee, 2020 Illinois Arts Council Grant recipient (novel development), and a former book reviewer for Kid Lit Exchange. My poetry has been featured in Spider Magazine and Caterpillar magazine, and I am a contributing poet in the Pomelo Books anthology, Hop to It: Poems to Get You Moving. I am Australian and worked there as a family physician before moving with my family to Chicago, where I now spend my time writing fiction for children and teens.
