About
Karin Redclift is a German creative writer, translator, proofreader, and literary tutor with a deep passion for children’s books.
Born and raised in Southern Germany, her love for kidlit started with picture books when she was a child and deepened when she began teaching and tutoring elementary-age children. She is a proud 5+-year volunteer at Reading Partners and believes reading aloud is FUN-damental!
Writing German and English and discovering ways to bring books and stories into new languages is a challenging but fulfilling endeavor.
Sharing this beloved German children's book was a dream come true.
When she is not playing with languages, you can find her reading a book, drawing, painting, gardening, or exploring the beautiful SF Bay Area with her family and their little rescue dog Charlie.
