Sarah Layden is the author of Imagine Your Life Like This (University of Wisconsin Press), Trip Through Your Wires (Engine Books), and The Story I Tell Myself About Myself, winner of the Sonder Press Chapbook Competition. A textbook, The Invisible Art of Literary Editing (Bloomsbury Academic), is co-authored with Bryan Furuness. Her short fiction appears in Boston Review, Blackbird, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Zone 3, Booth, Best Microfiction 2020, and elsewhere. A Society of Professional Journalists award winner, her recent essays, interviews and articles have appeared in The Washington Post, Poets & Writers, Salon, The Millions, and Indianapolis Monthly. She is an Assistant Professor of English in the creative writing program at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
