Bob Reiss is an author/award winning journalist who has published 24 books of thriller/political fiction or environmental non-fiction, and has written for numerous magazines including The Washington Post Magazine, Smithsonian, Parade, Newsweek, Fortune, Outside and Rolling Stone. He has discussed his work on TV or radio on Morning Joe, NBC Nightly, ABC Nightline, CNN, Good Morning America, NPR and Al Jazeera. He's been a consultant to CBS 60 Minutes on Arctic matters. Bob's non-fiction work in the Arctic, the Amazon, Africa and Antarctica has served as a source of much of his fiction. Bob also writes novels under the pen names of James Abel and Ethan Black. His most recent book, "Still Hungry, Tales From the Shadows" a short story collection, was published in September 2022.
