I am a writer and editor living in Ithaca, NY. My work has appeared in journals and magazines such as Terrain.org, Stone Canoe, Appalachia, Newfound, Cargo Literary, Pilgrimage, Life in the Finger Lakes Magazines, Highlights for Children, and more. My essay "Blood Mountain" won the 2017 Notes from the Field contest at Flyway Journal.
I served as an editor at Literary Mama for nearly ten years, including as a creative nonfiction editor and editor-in-chief. As a freelance editor, I work on creative nonfiction, memoir, essays, and fiction on a variety of topics, but my favorites are nature and science writing, parenthood, and art.
