Before menopause and Covid opened up the world of writing to me, I was a Sommelier, wine broker, and restaurant consultant in Los Angeles and Ojai, California.

I graduated from The University of Michigan with a degree in Communications before moving to NYC, where I was a Merchandising Editor for Brides Magazine. I then spent three decades in L.A, working as a restaurant manager and Sommelier, owning two wine and gift stores, and brokering for wineries.
