I fell in love with words when I was very young and still think they are akin to magic wands with the power to change worlds. After a career as an English professor, I retired to pursue a lifelong dream to write a mystery series. My first book, tentatively titled Knife Edge, will be published in 2023 by Epicenter Press.

I hold a first-degree black belt in TaeKwon Do, much to my surprise, as I dislike violence and never expected to enjoy kicking, punching, and breaking bricks. I do, however, believe strongly in the art of self-defense.

I also have a keen interest in the world of psychic phenomena. I believe everyone has access to realms of experience beyond the physical. As part of my own exploration, I have studied and taught dream interpretation and Tarot.
