Elizabeth Tracy is a science journalist and children's author who loves real-life inspiring stories, especially when they feature empowered women and girls. She has published articles in Cricket Media’s award-winning science magazines ASK and MUSE. Her debut picture book, MYSTERY DRIVER: THE STORY OF ALICE JOHNSON AND THE FIRST SOAP BOX DERBY (MIT Kids/Candlewick Press), was an Amazon #1 New Release, a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection, and a featured title on the American Library Association’s RISE Feminist Book Project booklist. Elizabeth holds advanced degrees from MIT and the London Business School. She divides her time between New York City and the scenic Hudson Valley.
