About
Lynn lives in Twickenham with her family. She has two daughters who are 14 and 16. She has worked in Telecoms, and in education for some years and was compelled to write about current issues affecting the pre-teens of today, sensing a need to highlight the dangers of living in a technological bubble!
Lynn originates from Lancashire and grew up in rural Lincolnshire, known as South Holland, due to the similarities of the flat landscapes and tulips which once dominated the surrounding fields! It looked breathtaking! Lynn moved to London in the 1990's, migrating from South East London to South West London over the years. Her girls provide the inspiration for the protagonist and heroine in the drama, Pixie Van Dimple!
There will be more Pixie Van Dimple adventures to come! The next book is called Pixie Van Dimple and the Wrong Kind of Plastic .... a seaside Armageddon, and this will be published later this year! Again, a serious issue of what to do about plastic waste, and the need to educate children about sustainability, and recycling, across all industries! There is no end to the issues Pixie Van Dimple can be involved in ! What would your story be about? What are you passionate about? Ask your children!
