Eugene J.A. Hebert
I earned an English degree from Dillard University. I also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University Divinity School. I won the Howard Thurman Award (from Dillard University). I also won the Jameson Jones Award (from Duke University Divinity School). I was a Fund for Theological Education Fellow.
I worked for the Breakthough Collaborative in Miami for three summers. I taught English. I also taught the Harlem Renaissance. I headed the Social Studies Department. My interest in education as inspired by my English degree continues. I love attending literati events.

Magnolia Goods: Poems
I write about a troubled, yet revelatory town that suggests the possibility of advocacy. It finally suggests story through form and progress. Poems of sonnet and haiku may even echo jazz. Ethnic aspirations surface. Rainbows narrate. All porcelain remembrances take a bow.
