Barbara Dimmick
Barbara Dimmick was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. After more than twenty years in Vermont and New Hampshire, she moved to Scottsville NY where she shares a home in Scottsville, NY, with her husband, two cats, a dog, and a ghost. She has recently completed a new novel.

After being knifed by a student in her college's tutoring center, Zoe can no longer face going to work. Desperate for a sense of direction in life, she seizes on the idea of going in search of the only man she's ever loved. She finds him in Vermont--only to discover he's become a monk. Zoe buys an unfinished house nearby, gets mixed up in small-town mischief, and discovers the joys of tending her woodlot.
