About
I've had a love affair with words for as long as I can remember. That passion was fueled by a few English teachers along the way. It was cemented into a permanent part of my life when I sold something I wrote my last semester at Bowling Green State University (Ohio), where I earned a degree in journalism. Through numerous moves, raising a family, and frequent job and career shifts, I've managed to find ways to include writing as part of the regular routine. I have six published books to my credit and dozens of articles published in assorted national, regional, and faith based publications. I live, read, write, and dream up new story ideas in Houston, TX, where I live my husband and spoiled rescue poodle.

Mayflower Chronicles: The Tale of Two Cultures
The classic version of the arrival of the Mayflower leaves out several important details. This book includes them. I tell the story as historical fiction so that the very real people who lived through significant moments in history could talk about what they experienced. The foreword was written by members of the Pokanoket Nation. Their ancestors saved the lives of my ancestors, and many others who arrived on the Mayflower in 1620.
