Kaira Clarke went to California State University for Illustrative Art and Japanese Language, studied abroad in Venice, Italy for art and expanded her knowledge to Fashion and Costume Design at Orange Coast College in California while interning at a local Performing Arts Center. She thrives on living through experiences and used to travel a lot as well as meeting people from different languages, cultures and diverse backgrounds. She has written travel blogs highlighting stories of travelers and locals, illustrated a children's book and worked with TokyoPop as a writer for the Rising Stars graphic novel competition when it was still around. From her experiences, she can share an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of characters, setting and imagineering for great story plots and characters. She loves writing fresh fantasy horror stories that were inspired by her childhood readings of R.L.Stine Fear Street and Chillers. Her writing inspirations are V.E.Schwab (Victoria Schwab), Brandon Sanderson, Holly Black and Jay Kristoff.
