About
Karen Quickley (Schnurstein) is an emerging American poet and writer. Her work has appeared in numerous print and online publications. Her poem "Sunflowers in August" was a Best Poem finalist in an Adelaide Literary Magazine contest, and her early piece "Little Brown Girl" was longlisted in a Folly Journal contest. In 2023, one of her college poems received a Best of the Net nomination, and another was first runner up for the New Feathers Anthology Award. She holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and lives in the Cleveland area of Ohio.
