Karen Quickley (Schnurstein) is a North American poet. Her work has appeared in numerous print and online publications. Her poem "Sunflowers in August" was a Best Poem finalist in an Adelaide Literary Magazine contest, and her early piece "Little Brown Girl" was longlisted in a Folly Journal contest. In 2023, one of her college poems received a Best of the Net nomination, and another was first runner up for the New Feathers Anthology Award. Her first book of poetry, “The Beautiful Thing” is now available as an ebook on Amazon. She holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and lives in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
