Emily Suñez is an artist, author, and illustrator who lives in Pasadena, California. She is the illustrator and author of The Healing Journal: Guided Prompts and Inspiration for Life with Illness. Emily’s award-winning artwork has been widely exhibited in galleries throughout the state of California.
Outside of her art and writing practice, Emily is an advocate for people with chronic illness and founded a local support group for people with POTS and other forms of dysautonomia. She is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of LA Dysautonomia Network (www.la-dn.org), a community organization dedicated to improving the lives of those living with dysautonomia.
Emily is a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher and holds a BA from the College of William & Mary and an MA from New York University.
