About
I am a physician and a writer. I have finished my debut novel, a work of upmarket fictionl. I was the clinical director of the Huntington's clinic at Johns Hopkins at the time when genetic testing for this fatal genetic disease was first offered in the United States.
Not everybody at risk for incurable illnesses wants to know their fate. My novel stems from my experiences as a psychiatrist at Hopkins in that setting in the 1980's, as well as from decades of practicing psychiatry in Silicon Valley, where I live with my family.
