About
Brenda Wada is an American author and artist. Her love of art inspired her to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University. It has always been her passion to become an author since she was a child and picked up her first pencil and started drafting makeshift books. She is a mother of two exceptional children who are the inspiration for her children’s books. Her son Joshua has high-functioning Autism, and her daughter Sarah is a pediatric cancer survivor. When they were younger, she would read books about Autism and cancer, but those books made them sad. Brenda felt a need for books about both topics that were heartfelt and humorous while also tackling serious issues.
