I am the author of the forthcoming WWII memoir based on my parents' correspondence with each other during the war. My book title is "Love, Abe: A Jewish GI's World War II Letters Home." I am also a poet whose work has been published in various literary journals, newsletters and anthologies. I am a member of the Ventura County Writers Club, Writers and Publishers Network, and the Academy of American Poets.

Love Abe: A Jewish GI's World War II Letters Home
A World War II memoir based on my parents' correspondence with each other during the war. It is unique in that the viewpoint is that of a first-generation American Jew who had to face anti-Semitism at home and was then sent to fight the Nazis in Germany as part of a U.S. Army antiaircraft battalion. The collection of letters is also significant because of its volume: over 800 letters; and also because it documents daily life in immediate post-war Germany and other parts of Europe in extremely frank and articulate detail.
