For over twenty years, Laurie Woodford taught English to college students in the U.S., China, and South Korea. Her short stories and essays have appeared in The Antioch Review, The Chattahoochee Review, The Minnesota Review, Little Patuxent Review and Catamaran. Her travel memoir, UNSETTLED, is forthcoming (Unsolicited Press). Originally from upstate New York, she now lives in the outskirts of Austin, Texas with her husband and agility dog. She holds an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte.
