Tim Wendel is the author of 16 books, including SUMMER OF '68, CASTRO'S CURVEBALL, CANCER CROSSINGS, and REBEL FALLS, which won the W.Y. Boyd Award for Historical Fiction. A longtime writer-in-residence at Johns Hopkins University, he writes and teaches fiction and nonfiction. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, National Geographic, Gargoyle, Potomac Review, GQ and Esquire.
