Michelle Michels is a writer of women’s fiction and romance novels. She embraced her passion for writing after moving from Chicago to Austin with her husband and children. Maybe it was the abundance of sunshine or the newfound quiet; but suddenly she had something to say, and she’s been writing ever since.

When Michelle isn’t dreaming up characters and plot twists, she’s downing coffee, getting walked by her rescue Borador, and telling her kids to stop eating junk food (she should really stop buying it). Michelle has a B.S. in Advertising and an M.Ed. She’s written press releases for Fortune 500 companies, taught sentence structure to second graders, and has implemented Spanish instruction in her children’s school district. Needless to say, she is a lover of words.

Michelle has completed three novels: two set in the Florida Keys and one in Austin, TX. She also attended the Writers’ Workshop through the Key West Literary Seminar in 2020.
