About

My writing and editing career began when I was a kid. Lying on the living room floor. Reading the dictionary. My parents were concerned. When I reached middle school and took a typing class, dad told me he'd buy me a typewriter when I hit 40 words per minute. One day I triumphantly came home with a test paper that reported 42 wpm. Dad scowled. My guess? "Great, now I have to buy the boy a typewriter."

I spend many years writing and editing professionally in the Navy, for a non-profit organization, for a monthly magazine I founded, and since 2002 with Ghostwriters Central, Inc. I serve as president and the initial point of contact for prospective clients who need help with manuscripts, screenplays, speeches, song lyrics, copywriting, technical writing, public relations, blogs and more.

When I'm not at a keyboard or on the phone, you might find me at the drag strip in my Tesla Model S Performance.
