About

I am a licensed attorney (and a sometime writer of fiction) who traveled the globe for some years before finally settling in Illinois. I had a number of careers before the law, including the military, academia, and publishing. Most recently, I worked as an intelligence officer and analyst supporting the U.S. military in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

My enormous love of reading and writing has led me to specialize in literary and publishing law, and in a small way I still work as a writer, editor, and publisher. There are few things so satisfying as a good story well told.

I didn't truly discover my love for the law until attending law school at Southern Illinois University. I am a fervent believer in the law and in the Constitution, and I believe everyone should have a voice in their own lives and destinies. As an attorney and counselor at law, it is my great desire and pride to help people with their legal problems.

In addition to a Law Degree, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Work has allowed me to travel widely: five continents and over 20 countries. I have seen much of the world, have witnessed how other folk live, and am grateful for each and every moment of it.
