About

Jabari White is a retired U.S. Army Captain, former U.S. Senate senior advisor and international business executive who was severely wounded in combat during the Iraq War while serving as a reconnaissance platoon leader in the storied 101st Airborne Division.

After beating narrow odds of survival and spending a grueling 14 months in a military hospital recovering from burns to nearly 70 percent of his body, Jabari chose to return to active duty despite having multiple surgeries lying ahead. Volunteering for another deployment at the soonest opportunity, Jabari became one of the very few severely wounded soldiers to return to combat in U.S. military history after deploying to Afghanistan as a military intelligence officer in 2010.

Jabari is a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland and currently resides in London, England.
