Lisa Bubert is a writer, editor, and librarian in Nashville. Her work has appeared in Texas Monthly, Texas Highways, Catapult, Longreads, The Rumpus, and more.

Her Longreads essay, “The Sunset,” was listed as notable in the 2023 Best American Essays Anthology. Her fiction has been nominated for Best Small Fictions (Pidgeonholes) and a Pushcart Prize (Natural Bridge Journal).

She is currently at work on a novel.
