About
I'm a female author who lives just north of Seattle. I am also disabled and the daughter of immigrants. I write primarily speculative short fiction that tends toward magical realism. My short fiction has appeared in the Bram Stoker Award-nominated Women in Horror anthology NOT ALL MONSTERS from StrangeHouse Books, and was a finalist for the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund Award for feminist writing, among other honors. My work has appeared in Psychopomp, Scissors + Spackle, Speculative City, Corvid Queen, So To Speak, The Iron Horse Literary Review, The Seventh Wave, Molotov Cocktail, and more. I am currently at work on a feminist short story collection, and a poetry collection. In my spare time, I teach creative writing at Edmonds College as well as my own private classes, and I'm also an editor and writing coach. For more info visit www.ggsilverman.com.
