I am a lifelong resident of southern West Virginia, from a small coal mining town in the heart of Appalachia. I hold a degree in English from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and am currently pursuing an MFA in creative writing. I specialize in fantasy and horror fiction but I have a passion for storytelling and I am a proponent of literature and the arts in my community. I collect ghost story collections from the cities I visits, and I enjoy coaching high school swimming, crochet, and online gaming with My husband and son.
