Feminist, Foodie, Educator and Activist is how I am listed on my website, www.Jackiefz.com. It's hard to describe a lifetime of Jackie's. I was born in the segregated south to liberal northern parents, I am educated with two Master's degrees (French and Spanish) and had a marvelous career teaching (foreign languages, of course). Then my next life began as I campaigned to achieve same-sex marriage rights in MA, traveled to my dream locations, owned a small business, daily climbed the steep, circular staircase to be a lighthouse tour guide and best, labored happily in a vineyard before finally sitting down to do what I'd dreamed of doing: writing and publishing a novel.
