They say change is good; you go first. So I did—many times!
In my early career, I held senior level positions with prominent multi-national companies. Mid-career, I changed lanes to fulfill my creative passion in the world of interior design. Throughout my years working in corporate America and design, I thought about a story. I then listened to the whisper in my heart and embraced the art and rigor of creative writing to author that story.
I earned my B.A., summa cum laude, from Notre Dame of Maryland University and M.S. in Business from Johns Hopkins University. An active alumna at NDMU, I also volunteer my time at Johns Hopkins’ Camp Sunrise—a unique one-week long camp for children with cancer—serving on the Camp Sunrise Board and as decorating chair for the Gala.
I am a member of the Women's National Book Association, Historical Novel Society, and Eastern Shore Writers' Association, and serve on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Writer's Association and as President of the Baltimore Chapter.
The ability to follow my passions in life is a blessing for which I am most grateful.
