Matthew C. (“Matt”) Lucas was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and lives there now with his wife and their two sons. His published fiction includes the epic fantasy novel, The Mountain (Montag Press), historical fantasy novel, The Lost Lock (Yonder & Far, Book 1), and several short stories; he has also written a legal textbook and numerous law review and bar journal articles. Since 2015, he has served as a judge on a state appellate court.
