About
Jane Smith is an award-winning author-illustrator of ten children's picture books, including the CHLOE ZOE series, HELLO NEW HOUSE, MISS MEOW and NAKED BUTT BUSTS OUT. Jane earned her BFA in Illustration at the Columbus College of Art & Design before beginning her career in publishing as an art director of children’s novelty books. She currently writes, illustrates, designs and publishes children's books from her seaside Wilmington, North Carolina studio.

Teddy is an energetic, rough-and-tumble little cub who loves riding his trike fast-fast-fast, his Daddy and his stuffie, Bear. Teddy knows how to be a good dad to Bear, because he learned from his own Daddy how to change diapers, make lunch and doctor up owies. But when Teddy’s love of speed leads to a trike crash and Bear gets hurt in way neither Teddy nor his Daddy knows how to fix, it’s Grandpa who comes to the rescue with a whole new skill to share.

- Miss Meow was honored by the Cat Writers' Association with a Certificate of Excellence and was a Muse Medallion 2022 finalist, both in the category of Children's Book Illustration.
