About

Danielle Marshall is a self-published author and marketer living in Louisville, Kentucky. As a former student mentor and college application reviewer, she saw an opportunity to leverage her communications background to create a journal for students about college visits. She's visited nearly 45 college campuses and earned her bachelor's from Texas Christian University and master's from Syracuse University.

Danielle wanted to create a resource for all students, regardless of socioeconomic status, that would help students think critically about a specific, and important part of the college admissions process, the campus tour.

The book encourages students to use all five senses on their campus visit, as well as, leverage their soft skills to determine which college is the best fit. Danielle published a Spanish version of the book in 2020 and also began hosting workshops about what to expect before, during and after a college campus visit.

Additionally, she works with universities and organizations to create college-specific visit journals for special programming.
