About

Fred Misurella has published three novels, ONLY SONS, ARRANGEMENT IN BLACK AND WHITE, and A SUMMER OF GOOD-BYES; a book of stories, LIES TO LIVE BY; a novella about Vietnam, SHORT TIME; and a critical study, UNDERSTANDING MILAN KUNDERA: PUBLIC EVENTS, PRIVATE AFFAIRS. His stories and nonfiction have appeared in Partisan Review, Summerset Review, Salmagundi, Kansas Quarterly, The Christian Science Monitor, The Village Voice, and The New York Times Book Review. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa Writers Workshop and a Fulbright Scholar. He has taught Creative Writing and Journalism at East Stroudsburg University.
