As an investigative reporter for Newsday, Peddie has won more than 75 awards for her journalism, including two New York New York Emmys and the Selden Ring. She was a finalist for the Public Service Pulitzer and worked on Newsday's 1995 Pulitzer Prize-winning series on police disability fraud. Her first book, "The Repetitive Strain Injury Sourcebook," is a self-help book for people, like her, with RSI. Her next book, the story of mobster Sonny Franzese, the feared Colombo underboss, is due out in 2022.
