Margaret Juhae Lee is a writer/editor living in Oakland, California. She received a Bunting Fellowship from Harvard University and a Korean Studies Fellowship from the Korean Foundation in support of research for her book, "Starry Field: A Memoir of Lost History." Previously, she was an editor for the Books and the Arts section at The Nation magazine. Her articles have been published in The Nation, Newsday, Elle, ARTnews, The Advocate, The Progressive and other outlets. Most recently, she was a contributing writer at Oakland Magazine. Margaret has a Master’s degree in Journalism from NYU’s Cultural Reporting & Criticism Program and a Master's in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin.
