I write climate science journalism, poetry, screenplays, music criticism, film criticism, and biography. My poetry has appeared in Zenda, Aurora, Cathexis Northwest Press, Pangyrus, and The Blue Mountain Review. My first book, an authorized biography of Florida statesman Lawton Chiles, Walkin' Lawton, appeared in 2012. I am the grandson of Portuguese-American author John Dos Passos (1896-1970). I co-manage the John Dos Passos literary estate and serve on the advisory board of the John Dos Passos Society.
