About
Chris Arvidson is a writer and teacher living in Charlotte, NC. Her poetry chapbook "The House Inside My Head" is due out in June, 2022, from Finishinglinepress.com. She co- edited and has an essay in"The Love of Baseball: Essays by Lifelong Fans" published by McFarland in 2017. She was co-editor and essayist for "Mountain Memoirs: An Ashe County and Anthology" and "Reflections on the New River: New Essays, Poems and Personal Stories" (McFarland, 2015). Chris has served as a non-profit communications and fundraising professional, with experience in higher education, Habitat for Humanity, and land conservation organizations. She earned a B.A. from Olivet College, an M.A. from UNC Charlotte, and M.F.A. from Goucher College.
