About

Chris Arvidson is a writer and artist living in Charlotte, NC. "Nobody Cares What You Think" her first full-length poetry collection will be published in January 2025. Presales are at Finishinglinepress.com. Her poetry chapbook "The House Inside My Head"was published in 2022. She coedited and has an essay in "The Love of Baseball: Essays by Lifelong Fans" published by McFarland in 2017; "Reflections on the New River: New Essays, Poems and Personal Stories" (McFarland, 2015); and she was co-editor and essayist for "Mountain Memoirs: An Ashe County and Anthology"(Main Street Rag Press). Chris has served as a non-profit communications and fundraising professional, with experience in higher education, Habitat for Humanity, and land conservation organizations, and taught at Robert Morris University and UNC Charlotte. She earned a B.A. from Olivet College, an M.A. from UNC Charlotte, and M.F.A. from Goucher College.
