Christine M. Arvidson
Chris Arvidson is a writer living in the mountains of North Carolina. She a co-creator of Wordkeepers, a bi-monthly writers' salon, and serves on many arts and literary boards in the area. She is a retired communications and fundraising non-profit professional, with experience in higher education, Habitat for Humanity, and land conservation organizations. She is an editor and essayist for "Mountain Memoirs: An Ashe County and Anthology" and the upcoming "Reflections on the New River: New Essays, Poems and Personal Stories" (spring/summer 2015). She earned a B.A. from Olivet College, an M.A. from UNC Charlotte, and M.F.A. from Goucher College. She is currently at work on a novel.
