Flashbulb Memories

Flashbulb Memories is the vibrant story of a closely-knit, bubbly family traveling in the twists and turns of life. The enchanting narrative takes shape in light and amusing steps through a series of vignettes. I intend to carry the reader on a journey through memories that are at times nonchronological and foggy. A woman and a man, undertaking their life journey hand in hand, create a family with a rambunctious group of spirited children who in turn become teenagers and adults. Through this story of a seemingly ordinary family, the reader is led to reflect on the universality of human traits, gender roles, and cross-cultural identities, as the Parisian family makes a disruptive yet founding move to America.
