About

I am a retired entertainment IT professional preparing to publish my first memoir. During my career, I was hired by four major studios (Fox, Warner Bros., Disney and Universal), Hollywood Entertainment (owner of the Hollywood Video store chain) and new media startups. My progress in Hollywood leveraged impeccable timing when her career paralleled the revolution of the personal computer.

I loved my job—almost always. Immersed in defining how PCs were used on sets, in production offices and in studio corporate departments, I was there during the growth of the digital evolution of television processes and businesses. My roles included:
• project management
• non-fiction writing of movie reviews and entertainment spotlight articles
• design, development and marketing for traditional IT projects, websites, online interactive properties and digital productions for both profit and non-profit organizations

I'm an active member of the Television Academy and the Producers Guild, as well as the AAUW and the Florida Writers Association. My experience includes serving on the Board of the PGA New Media Council and as Board member and Speaker Chair for the Portland OR Creative Conference (cre8con).
