I am currently writing a novel about a family's immigration to the United States at the turn of the last century.
For the past four years I have been interviewer, writer and content coordinator for the community magazines Berkeley Hills Living and Montclair Living in the San Francisco Bay area. I edit fiction and non-fiction books for local publishers such as Heyday Books and individual authors with original manuscripts and proposals. I have been a technical writer and editor for top Bay Area companies and advertising agencies for many years. I am also a writing coach. I taught copyediting at UC Berkeley Extension for several years. I translate from French to English and from Spanish to English.
Raised in Latin America, I also lived and worked in France and have traveled widely in Europe, India, and Africa. I bring an international sensibility to my work.
